Small Silk Quilts Gallery

These pieces are made from silk, rather than the hand dyed cottons used in my other pieces. I use both commercial and hand dyed silks. The glorious hand and luster of the silk is irresistable, although handling silk during the creation of the quilt is far more complex than with cottons. Some of the pieces are inspired by modern jewelers' works, and others are just “color poems”.
